The Challenge

A new product for news publishers had to go from nothing to production-ready, on a real timeline, with a small team and no room for the quality to slip.

What We Delivered

A complete full-stack application with 30+ features: expert dashboards, admin comment management, embeddable widgets, role-based access control, and a user invitation system, designed, built, and shipped to production.

The product includes more than 30 features.

How We Build

AI-driven development gave a two-person team agency-scale output. Security and infrastructure were reviewed at senior level, and the test suite was held to a quality bar that checks whether tests actually catch bugs. The result is not a prototype: it ships and runs.

The server no longer takes public TLS. Connections come only from the load balancer, which limits request rates and applies managed rules for injection and scripting.

Staging runs took 57% less time per run.

From March to May 2026, server unit tests increased from 11 to 131, end-to-end tests from 3 to 25, and automated interface tests from 8 to 52.
